 The Islands: Halong Bay is made up of 1, 969 islands of various sizes, 989 of which have been given names. There are two kinds of islands, limestone and schist, which are concentrated in two main zones: the southeast (belonging to Bai Tu Long Bay), and the southwest (belonging to Halong Bay)

 The Grottos: Halong Bay has many breath taking caves and grottos such as Thien Cung (Heaven Palace), Dau Go (Wooden Heads), Sung Sot (Amazing cave), Trinh Nu (version girl), Tam Cung and many others

The Beaches: In Halong Bay, there are a number of beautiful beaches on the smaller islands.
